More than half of Democrats in a poll released this week said they want to see someone other than President Biden make a bid for the White House next year.
See, Democrats as a whole don’t love Joe Biden, but are there really few other options. So there is a real desire for someone else, but also a HUGE desire to win. And those things are potentially in conflict.
Younger voters are more likely to say they want another Democrat to challenge Biden. Nearly 70 percent of those ages 18-29 said they wanted another option in the primary, and 61 percent of those ages 30-44 agreed.
So this is very good news for Joe Manchin.
