Now I’ve known some very good Black female docs in my time. Some I am quite pleased to refer patients to.
But the problem with DEI and ALL Affirmative Action policies is that I have to wonder a little (at least at first) about competence. I mean, did they get in because they were brilliant and the best available, or because of their race and gender? And just how big was the gap?
