It’s all well and good. But as of right now (and I reserve the right to change my opinion as more information comes out), I am completely underwhelmed.
Ask yourself: “Did anyone get fired?” “Is anyone facing prosecution?” “Is anyone even a little personally ‘bent’ because of it?” “Did anyone suddenly ‘decide’ to retire or to get a new job or spend more time with the kids?”
As far as I can tell right now, the answer to ALL those questions is the same–NO. In other words, it’s all sound and fury, meaning NOTHING! Absolutely nothing. This is just Kabuki theater. I’m NOT fooled!
Let’s see how much they get away with. THAT will tell us a ton. But from here, it was much more if a silent-but-deadly fart than a “bunker-buster” bomb!
