I am independent. I am a free person. I refuse to cower before you.
AND, I am sneaky. I am water–I change shapes effortlessly. I may have to pretend to go along in order to escape your tyranny or get what I want (and you will never actually know me), but then I will sabotage your despotic and soul-crushing force at every opportunity.
If you break me today, I will admit that I am human and understand that tomorrow is a new day–you will have to break me again tomorrow. And the next day. Every. Day.
I will never stay broken. Tomorrow is a new day.
And understand well, I will never buy into your despotic crap. Never. I am me, and there’s simply nothing you can do to change that. You can hurt me, torture me. You can even kill me. But you will never change who I really am. And I will sabotage you whenever I can.
I will not comply.

I know you better than you know yourselves. You are conditioned. Programmed. Automotons who believe themselves sentient beings. Your intolerance of “hate” is not a virtue. It’s a ruse. An excuse to practice your own intolerance and luxuriate in your own hatreds. You are a self-fulfilling prophecy. You are that which you claim to despise, and I am that which you claim to be.
I see you. Clearly. And I aim to misbehave.
In the immortal words in Daniel 3 of the Old Testament:
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
I understand well the, “But if not….” clause. And even if not, I will stay faithful to the truth!
