See, now he’s trying to save his own skin–and his position. Because he was going to get thrown out on his keister.
But I hope this doesn’t save him. His deathbed “come to Jesus” reversal is not at all persuasive to me. I don’t think this is conversion, it’s just a frantic attempt to avoid the natural consequences of his actions.
I don’t trust him any further than I can throw him! And I’m in a wheelchair…
