It’s not even an empirical question anymore. The fact that so many people are Leftists is a testament to an anti-empirical stance, along with slick advertising that caters to the recipients’ overweening narcissism.
I mean, the historical evidence is just overwhelming.
Which makes one wonder: at what point can we say that liberalism has definitively, once and for all, failed, so that, like communism and socialism, it can never again be taken seriously as a policy alternative?
