There is trouble brewing at Black Rock, the headquarters of CBS, after the firing of Catherine Herridge, an acclaimed investigative reporter. Many of us were shocked after Herridge was included in layoffs this month, but those concerns have increased after CBS officials took the unusual step of seizing her files, computers and records, including information on privileged sources.
… A former CBS manager, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said that he had “never heard of anything like this.” He attested to the fact that, in past departures, journalists took all of their files and office contents. Indeed, the company would box up everything from cups to post-its for departing reporters. He said the holding of the material was “outrageous” and clearly endangered confidential sources.
And it’s NOT how things have always worked!

Why are “current and former aides” in the Biden White House leaking stories that make Biden look old and infirm, and leaking stories that claim Kamala Harris has taken the reins on foreign policy?
The Democrat-progressive establishment is clearly sending a message to the Bidens: Get. Out. One has to wonder what will come next if Biden refuses to leave, to which I can only advise…go long on popcorn stock.

… Reuters knows that the hostages being released by Hamas aren’t soldiers (neither are the terrorists Hamas is getting), but they casually drop the term into their headline to fundamentally alter your perception of what is happening. A POW exchange is a lot different than the negotiated release of people held hostage for 50 days–women and children who have nothing to do with the war except by being victims of evil terrorists.
