Yes, that weakness

has to be really quite alarming for Biden!

President Joe Biden is heading into election year showing “alarming weakness” among “stalwarts” of the Democrat base — black, Hispanic, and young voters, according to a new poll.

And there is another, perhaps bigger issue: Once Blacks and Hispanics and young people vote Republican, a psychological boundary has been crossed and it is far easier for them to go there again and to influence others to change, as well.

And even if they don’t directly influence many others, the simple fact that they voted Republican very much changes the culture. A person might say, “Aunt Mary voted Republican, but not the rest of us. She was always a bit counter-culture.” But then, such a deviation from tradition is FAR from unheard of! And so it is subsequently much easier for others to go down that path…

Aunt Mary then is not a pariah, but a cultural rebel—part of a cultural vanguard!

As a Leftist would say, “Disturbing!”

Biden sucking so horribly does NOT just have implications for the coming elections. There are long-term electoral ramifications, as well.

… There is no way a major political party would run someone as lost and unappealing as Joe Biden without have great assurances that they can fix the election in their favor.

There is no way this guy could win a fair election even with the media lying for him on a daily basis. It’s just not possible.

What truly gets me about Armtrong’s lyric change, though, is how safe it is. Musicians that were writing anti-draft songs in the ’60s and ’70s actually faced the draft. The only thing Green Day faces is increasing irrelevance. Nothing is edgy about taking a shot at “MAGA” in 2023. On the contrary, it’s the most boilerplate thing a public figure can do.

So bad that even his cheerleaders at MSNBC are no longer able to spin it any other way than to level with the cable network’s brainwashed left-wing viewers that, barring a dramatic shift in public perception, the incumbent is in serious trouble.

And even that assumes the Biden’s “favorable” rating is at a grossly inflated 40%. It’s not anywhere near that high. It’s more like 35%. So as bad as it is being reported, it is actually worse.

In an upcoming release of court documents related to the late Jeffrey Epstein, former President Bill Clinton will reportedly be identified as “John Doe 36,” as disclosed in a recent report by ABC News.

I think many run-of-the-mill Democrats fail to understand just how damaging this is to their “brand.” It’s not that there won’t be people on the Right caught up in his–they will. And so we WILL have the famous Bill Clinton strategy of saying, “See, everybody does it!”

But Bill Clinton is a known hound dog who has been credibly accused of forcible rape more than once before, and yet he has been continually feted by the Democrats. He is, in many ways, the very face of the Democrats!

So once this formally breaks, it will give many pause. They may shy away from voting for Joe Biden–who has also been credibly accused of sexual assault.

THAT is why Clinton (and Democrats) are trying so hard to get out in front of this–so when it actually comes out they can dismiss it as “old news” that everyone already knows and we should all just “move on.” “Heh, it’s just that old hound dog Bill Clinton, and we ALL already knew that…”

It is the classic, tried-and-true Clinton strategy. And as old and tired as it is, it almost for sure will yet again lull some of the masses into a narcotic stupor zombie state.

So there are two plays here for the Democrats:
1) Get out in front of it and then say that it is “old news,” and
2) Point to guilty Republicans and say, “See, everyone does it! You are just as guilty as anyone else, you hypocrite!”

THOSE are the only cards Democrats are willing to play. And just you watch, play them they will–as certain as the sun rises in the East…

EVs are

ultimately unaffordable. As a result, they will fail.

Electric cars are very “torquey” and fun to drive. But they are a toy of the fabulously rich. They may work in very specific situations, but really they are just a “niche” product.

Unfortunately for Hsu, it turned out that the battery protector cover on his car’s undercarriage was warped, a problem that could in certain instances cause the battery to explode. This meant that he would have to replace his car’s battery pack in addition to fixing its structural damage. Hsu says he was shocked when the estimate to replace the battery came in at $61,000 Canadian, or about $46,000 in US dollars. That’s almost $6,000 more than he paid for the car when he purchased it brand new. 

Even worse, because the damage was caused by an accident, the bill was not covered by the car’s warranty, leaving Hsu with the alternative of filing a claim with his insurance carrier. But the resulting insurance implications were enormous, with Mr. Hsu facing a rate increase of up to 50% if he filed the claim. His only other choice would be to foot the repair bill himself and now have over $87,000 US dollars invested in a $41,000 car.

This is insane. This is not sustainable. The EV industry simply cannot have stories like this one popping up with increasing frequency and hope to sustain growing demand for its products.

But wait, that’s not all! There are other issues:

  • range anxiety that pops up any time the weather isn’t perfect;
  • the lack of charging infrastructure;
  • the unreliability of the infrastructure that does exist;
  • the non-recyclability of the battery materials;
  • the increasing restrictions on charging due to the massive load EVs place on the grid;

So yeah, let’s just say that there are issues. Let me say again that I think these vehicles can make sense in limited situations. But not generally as a replacement for a car with an ICE.

is doing is pretty dang ugly. It is a stain on free government itself. And it is borne of spittle-lipped, irrational Trump Hatred.

But you know it won’t stand, right? And several states should now move to kick Biden off the ballot because he is incompetent and because he is a traitor to the United States. And it is well within their power.

But as to what the Left is doing:

are fleeing the Lefty hell-hole that is NYC and moving to Texas.

Burdened by high taxes, stifling regulations, rampant crime and homelessness, failing schools and an atmosphere that hampers the entrepreneurial American spirit, New Yorkers are flocking south for a friendlier and more vibrant alternative. 

Yes, there IS a natural sorting that takes place–birds of a feather tend to flock together and all that. When groups hit a certain point, they just can no longer live together. The bible scholar/historian Hugh Nibley called it “The Rechabite Principle.”

Nibley characterized the sons of Rechab as “typical of the back-to-the-wilderness movements among the Jews in every age…” 

Nibley argued that Jonadab ben Rekhab and his followers had gone out into the desert “to recapture the spirit of [the ideal Israelite] time,” recalling the years when Israel, having been delivered out of Egypt, was led through the wilderness by God’s hovering cloud by day and by his pillar of fire at night

(See: Jeremiah 35) The point is that historically there have been groups to separate themselves from others who have antithetical belief sets. Mild disagreements are pretty easily dealt with, but those “gaps” in beliefs tend to widen and widen (and it only takes one side to move), until the two groups can no longer tolerate living together.

And we also see this exact same thing on a personal level–people who were once friends find that their beliefs become more and more disparate until the point comes where at least one party simply refuses to be friends any longer.

It is predictable. Sad, but predictable.
