Yes, but I think

the title of the article is potentially quite misleading. He was NOT complaining that some people are intolerant of trans people. No, he was saying that the transgender folks are the ones who are intolerant!

You have to read the article for that to become clear.

The former frontman for ’80s metal band Twisted Sister accused transgender activists of intolerance after he got the boot from San Francisco’s gay pride parade for questioning gender transitions in children.

And of course, Paul Stanley has already capitulated to the rabid woke-scolds on this… Freakin’ wimp!

I sure hope there

is a little punker/counter-culture/rebel in all of us. After all, that’s how we got America in the first place–not by being cowering sheep, but by rebelling and being willing to shoot a few “sacred cows!”

To be a rebel in the late 70’s and early 80’s was to reject disco and the pablum that was then passed off as music (can you say, “Muskrat Love?”).

But to be a rebel now is to be disparaging toward the Lefty woke-scolds. It is to live your life in happiness, rejecting all they have tried to foist upon you.

Remember when the band KISS was counter-culture? I sure do. Growing up, I had a friend who was pretty much completely unsupervised (his dad was a divorced, single dad who was a bank executive and was gone all the time). My friend had all the KISS albums and played them often–my parents would NOT have been happy if they had known what I was listening to at my friend’s house…

But now Paul Stanely is just another bowing and scraping sell-out to the modern woke-scold crowd. How sad!

THAT didn’t take long!

The anti-authoritarian, outspoken rockstars of the past have simply become the woke mouthpieces of the progressive left. No longer brave or brazen, they are now merely aging rockers too afraid to counter the loud and aggresive talking points of the industry to which they owe their livelihood and their royalty checks.

Honestly, I thought better of Stanley. I figured that given his situation, he was out of the reach of the woke-scolds. But no, he folded like a cheap tent. Really sad. I’m old enough to remember when rock stars were independent, in-your-face rebels rather than bleating sheep.

Really, it’s mainly a few old punkers who still chafe under the schoolmarm despotism of the “woke” crowd.

Attacks on churches and Christian institutions on American soil are at an all-time high.

… In other words, there were more church attacks in the first quarter of this year than there were in the first quarters of the preceding five years combined.

I personally think it is very wise to carry concealed in church. I recommend it. Because churches ARE a target, and a soft one at that.

So what explains their shared hatred for Christian churches? The answer seems simple enough: whereas amoral secularism is willing to accommodate and appease just about anything, churches cling to their own — that is, distinctly Christian — worldview, and this worldview rejects and contradicts much of what both the woke and the Muslim believe.

Even Dee Snyder (Twisted Sister) has spoken out against this nonsense.

But these are the “gray beards” who have spoken out. They are already legends. They really don’t have any risk in speaking out. Those who are “up-and-coming” are indeed continuing to be cowering suck-ups, but they also have far more at risk…

I just think

it is no longer wise to send your kids to public schools, if you can help it. Times are different, now. They don’t seem to value free expression at all. And I’m too much of an old Punker to go down THAT dark path.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” Twitter CEO Elon Musk stated that the anti-meritocratic and anti-free speech aspects of “the woke mind virus” are dangerous to society and that the “woke mind virus” is due to “the amount of indoctrination that’s happening in schools and universities” that is “far beyond what parents realize.”

… Musk added, “I really can’t emphasize this enough, we must protect free speech. And free speech only matters — it’s only relevant when it’s someone you don’t like saying something you don’t like. Because, obviously, speech that you like, that’s easy. So, it’s — and it’s — the thing about censorship is that, for those who would advocate it, just remember, at some point, that will be turned on you.” [emphasis added]

The take-home message here is that Lefty places are losing population while Conservative places are gaining. And that, of course, drastically changes the nature of the House of Representatives. But it’s very clear that this is happening.
