Yeah, it’s NOT

just a 2016 anomaly! It is world-wide.

Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News that the recent wave of international populist and conservative victories, from Javier Milei’s win in Argentina to Giorgia Meloni’s victory in Italy and more, show that the international populist conservatives’ movement is “stronger” than it was in 2016.

In 2024, things are looking even better for conservative populists worldwide. Obviously, Meloni is now firmly the prime minister of Italy and has been for a couple years. Milei’s win in Argentina was a massive shot in the arm for the right headed into this year. Geert Wilders’ PVV party came out on top in the Netherlands, too, and he is currently working to form a coalition government with other parties. That’s what’s already happened, but what looms throughout this year could be a worldwide sweep—or at least a sweep through the West—for conservative populists leading up to Trump’s expected rematch with Democrat President Joe Biden in November here at home.

Lefties need to leave the Jurassic era: Things are changing…

Yeah, times

are changing! And not necessarily in Democrats’ favor…

Yes, that weakness

has to be really quite alarming for Biden!

President Joe Biden is heading into election year showing “alarming weakness” among “stalwarts” of the Democrat base — black, Hispanic, and young voters, according to a new poll.

And there is another, perhaps bigger issue: Once Blacks and Hispanics and young people vote Republican, a psychological boundary has been crossed and it is far easier for them to go there again and to influence others to change, as well.

And even if they don’t directly influence many others, the simple fact that they voted Republican very much changes the culture. A person might say, “Aunt Mary voted Republican, but not the rest of us. She was always a bit counter-culture.” But then, such a deviation from tradition is FAR from unheard of! And so it is subsequently much easier for others to go down that path…

Aunt Mary then is not a pariah, but a cultural rebel—part of a cultural vanguard!

As a Leftist would say, “Disturbing!”

Biden sucking so horribly does NOT just have implications for the coming elections. There are long-term electoral ramifications, as well.

Yep, people

are fleeing the Lefty hell-hole that is NYC and moving to Texas.

Burdened by high taxes, stifling regulations, rampant crime and homelessness, failing schools and an atmosphere that hampers the entrepreneurial American spirit, New Yorkers are flocking south for a friendlier and more vibrant alternative.

Yes, there IS a natural sorting that takes place–birds of a feather tend to flock together and all that. When groups hit a certain point, they just can no longer live together. The bible scholar/historian Hugh Nibley called it “The Rechabite Principle.”

Nibley characterized the sons of Rechab as “typical of the back-to-the-wilderness movements among the Jews in every age…”

Nibley argued that Jonadab ben Rekhab and his followers had gone out into the desert “to recapture the spirit of [the ideal Israelite] time,” recalling the years when Israel, having been delivered out of Egypt, was led through the wilderness by God’s hovering cloud by day and by his pillar of fire at night

(See: Jeremiah 35) The point is that historically there have been groups to separate themselves from others who have antithetical belief sets. Mild disagreements are pretty easily dealt with, but those “gaps” in beliefs tend to widen and widen (and it only takes one side to move), until the two groups can no longer tolerate living together.

And we also see this exact same thing on a personal level–people who were once friends find that their beliefs become more and more disparate until the point comes where at least one party simply refuses to be friends any longer.

It is predictable. Sad, but predictable.

I think the rift

between normal, traditional Lefties has now gotten so big that it threatens the very structure of “Democrat” itself.

For example, I had a friend with whom I worked closely almost 25 years ago. And we came to be good friends over a decade–he came over to my house to watch football and we lent each other stuff.

But now he has refused to interact with me at all–he has refused to be my friend. I have voted Democrat in the distant past, but that wasn’t good enough for him!

And the issue is that he has gotten more and more radical in his Leftism until it got to the point where he just could not tolerate having a friend who disagreed with him and who challenged him at all.

And just me being with this friend was itself too much of a challenge to him. He was so far into the Lefty fever swamps that ANY challenge to that warm, moist embrace was just too much for him to tolerate.

And THAT is the rift we are seeing among Democrats. The radical end has gotten more and more extreme, while the more cultural end is starting to shy like a spooked stallion! Sure, they like the idea of Social Security, but things like Portland BLM violence, drag queens, and child sexual mutilation give them hives!

In other words, most of their beliefs are now best embodied by mainstream Republicanism! And so we are seeing some shift from blue-collar workers, Hispanics, and Blacks. And more will happen as Democrat, Inc. gets more and more extreme, and less and less representative of regular people.

Yes, there still

will be battles. But the war is over.

You’re already able to make a functioning gun at home, using free, publicly-available printing files. As that technology improves, we will reach the gun singularity, wherein you can make a gun at home of the same or better quality than you’d get from a manufacturer.

Guys, it can no longer be stopped. Nor should it be. Lefties, get with this century on this! “Gun Control” emerged out of the amazingly ugly 1965-1975 era. And it is indeed amazingly ugly. Lefties, it’s time to put down the groovy bead necklaces, the bell bottoms, your “The Byrds” 8-track tapes, and the patchouli incense sticks!

Well, his guess

is as good (or bad) as anyone else’s!

But the fact that we have Lefties saying this in public is actually a big deal, and something of a sea-change.

“I’m not even sure whether I’ll be running against Biden,” West said. “Biden — I think he’s going to have an LBJ moment [and] pull back. I’m just saying that I’m open to those possibilities, given the fluidity of the situation.”

… He said that Biden, who is now 81 years old, is quickly running out of gas and is a “milquetoast neoliberal with military adventurism, possibly leading the world toward World War III.”

Honestly, I’ve

never been less proud of having done a post-doc at Harvard. I mean, it was always a bit of a cesspool, though I had some truly outstanding (and deservedly famous) mentors there. And my situation was far different than an undergrad or even graduate student there. It was a very good thing for me. Still…

Well, let’s

hope.

But this aircraft carrier of institutional bigotry is not going to turn on a dime. The bigots in academia are NOT suddenly going to lose their jobs and they WILL hire fellow bigots–who will stay there 30 years or more.

So yes, change is possible. But it will be incremental and FAR slower than we’d like. Conservatives, as a group, have long since left academia, and it will take a good deal of time to get them back.

So why are

young people so frightened?

In a word, Leftism.

Hear me out: American cultural Leftism is ALL about litigation-inspired nanny state-ism. Don’t put this bread sack over your head–it is not a toy. Gee, it’s a good thing there is this warning–I thought it was a toy and putting it over my head might be a really fun thing…

See, a consequence of focusing with such hyper-vigilance on safety is that it renders ALL life dangerous. Don’t build a ramp and jump your bike on it.

And when I feel that ALL life is extremely dangerous, I might well feel chronically anxious. And that anxiety has grown explosively among our kids over the last 30 years or so. No surprise, there.

So you never play “Red Rover” (when we played it one time a friend’s little sister got her arm broken). You never play Smear The Queer (for obvious reasons). You certainly never build ramps and jump bikes over them.

And you never (speaking from experience) steal gunpowder from your dad’s reloading setup and make pipe bombs (yeah, that is just dangerous and MY parents would have had a freakin’ fit had they known).

As a teen, you never see if you can hit the railroad elevation fast enough that you get “air.” You never throw an old mannequin off a very tall bridge where all the traffic can see a “body” falling off the bridge!

I’m NOT endorsing doing stupid and dangerous things. Please, don’t misunderstand. I’m saying that if I had never “spun cookies” in snowy parking lots as a teen, slick roads would now panic me a lot more.

We need to understand that there is a trade-off here. We want our loved ones to be safe and sound. But going hard the other direction also poses some risks–which often fly “under the radar.”
