Law enforcement broke through a barricade early this morning and arrested activists who refused orders to vacate the University of New Mexico student union.

Gee, won’t THAT look good on a resumé! Assuming that they can graduate somewhere. But there are plenty of universities that will be happy to take their money!

But yeah, bummer!

The truth is, almost all normal people are disgusted by these evil-clown antics and are more than happy to see them get the butt-whipping they so richly deserve.

AstraZeneca has admitted in court for the first time that its Covid jab can cause a deadly blood clotting side effect.

… He was left with a permanent brain injury following a blood clot and the bleed on the brain after getting the vaccine in April 2021. He has been unable to work since. 

… On the revelation, Kate Scott, Mr Scott’s wife, said: ‘I hope their admission means we will be able to sort this out sooner rather than later. 

… Official data shows at least 81 Brits have died from blood clot complications apparently linked to the AstraZeneca jab, according to figures collected by the UK’s drug watchdog, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

I gotta say,

I’m really glad to see it. I’m a DeSantis fan, and I gotta say that I preferred him over Trump. That said, I love my country and therefore want to see Trump win.

It has been revealed that Ron DeSantis is expected to campaign for Donald Trump in the remaining few months before the 2024 election, with the pair appearing to have put the past behind them to come together and try to ensure a Republican victory. 

But it’s time for DeSantis fans to come home…

It is totally stupid

and indicative of HUGE ignorance for people to (self-servingly) whine about Kristi Noem shooting a dog. Let’s review, shall we?:

  1. The dog was a hunting dog that not only wouldn’t hunt, but scared game away. THAT alone would be enough for most hunters. But wait, there’s more!
  2. The dog wantonly killed the neighbor’s livestock. So the dog HAD to go no matter what.
  3. When stopped in the act by Noem, the dog became aggressive and threatening to Noem.

Guess what? An aggressive dog like that gets put down for the good of everyone. Now one can argue that what Noem did in terms of killing the dog was fine, but her talking about it in her book was poor judgment. Huh.

Well, that’s kind of splitting hairs, isn’t it. Basically, “city slickers” really are adrift and don’t understand at all. Should we cater to the blindingly ignorant? Maybe. But that’s where we are on this!

Polls are

a rather distorted mirror, but even so, there is some truth-value in them, particularly in the aggregate.

In recent months, polls began to tick upwards in favor of former president Donald Trump. At first, there wasn’t much separation between him and Joe Biden. Lately, however, they’re becoming a bit more eye-opening.

… Another thing to consider is the source of the polls that have looked good for Trump. They’re not being conducted be Rightwing Nutjobs ‘R’ Us Polling; they’re the work of pollsters who definitely aren’t skewing the wording of the questions to favor the Republican.

None of this is cause for a leap into irrational exuberance, obviously. In my early April column, I said that I think a Republican has to be at least eight points ahead to at least have a shot at offsetting any Magic Mail-In Ballot Machine shenanigans. That still seems reasonable.

It’s potentially

a HUGE issue!

I think it is an open-and-shut case. It is binary: He (and the office itself) either meets requirements or not.

PREDICTION: I think that this not going to go well for the slavering Trump-hater goons. There just IS no wiggle room! Jack Smith simply doesn’t meet criteria, nor does the office itself.

The Lefty SCOTUS Justices may totally ignore that, but by statute, Jack Smith simply doesn’t meet criteria. Done!

So, irrespective of guilt or innocence, there would have to be a legislative change to allow Smith to operate as a Special Counsel. I think that is unlikely.
