The Left wants you discouraged and supine. THAT is their strategy. They want you to give up. They want you to just give in and, Saruman-like, “make deals” with them. They tout the “wisdom” of giving up. It makes it easier for them to obtain their goals. They deal in the currency of despair and discouragement.

But the way to resist the Lefty Orcs is to not be discouraged and inert, to not give up hope. The challenge is to continue on–with optimism. Optimism is the antidote to the discouragement-inducing Lefty despair that is all around us. And optimism takes effort. Optimism is a choice. It IS resistance!

No wonder Lefties HATE The Lord Of The Rings! Cuts pretty dang close to the bone for them! The minions of Sauron, the forces of darkness have always fought against the light, against Gandalf and those who fight for freedom. And while Orcs are fictional, the Left sure isn’t!

So yes, WE have to decide what is right and wrong, good and bad… And, like Saruman, some we didn’t expect will desert and will fall. And it will be heart-breaking. But even so, we have to decide what to do with the time that is given to us.

On Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas relented, and, in what certainly seemed to be an about-face, reversed Biden Administration policy. He declared, “There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States,” and he issued an order waiving 26 different environmental laws to hasten construction of that new border wall.

Next stop: Democrats say, “We always wanted robust enforcement! What are you talking about? Why on earth would you think otherwise?”

THAT is the Democrat “Gaslight Four-Step.” And THAT is what you will see. Bank on it! Just like 4/4 is referred to as “common time” in music, this is “common Leftism.”

See, this is the ruse Democrats have LONG played. It was perhaps most obvious talking about election fraud. Here is the Lefty election fraud denial 4-step (in “Common Leftism” time):

Step 1: There IS no election fraud!
Step 2 (fallback position): Oh, there is probably some minor voter fraud, sure, but it is inconsequential.
Step 3 (fallback position): OK, there is indeed some voter fraud–I’ve always acknowledged that! But it has never changed the course of an election.
Step 4 (fallback position): I’ve always been against election fraud, you know. So just shut up you racist! Imma not even going to talk to you anymore! [folds arms while walking away] “Hmmph! Well I never…”

And doh-see-doh, away we go!

On illegal immigration, Democrats are fully into step three on illegal immigration now, but are edging into step 4. But just know that in step 4 they will deny their past and claim; “Well, I was always against illegal immigration!” THAT is the gaslighting portion of the dance…

I mean, it is clearly a major strategy of the Left. Just think of Greta Thunberg and David Hogg!

But it is really manipulative in the extreme. And can you think of a corresponding figure on the right? Nothing comes to MY mind…

If your ideas need to be expressed by people that others aren’t allowed to criticize, that’s a solid indicator that your ideas can’t withstand criticism, because they’re stupid.

And THAT is the eternal weakness of Leftism itself–a fundamental logical weakness. That weakness simply can’t withstand scrutiny, which is why Leftist refuse to debate and they use the “cute puppies” of empty-headed children (as most are at that age) to demagogically sway the masses.

In other words, it’s all hat and no cattle. It’s all fairies and unicorns and little hard-slogging reality. See, reality is too demanding for them, too difficult, too redolent of cold showers.

And we see that in the Democrat explosive-diarrhea spending. Oh, Republicans are not immune to the siren song of “buy now, pay (sometime) later.” But they are a bit less prone to it. They are less vulnerable to, in the slightly altered words of the dodo bird in Alice In Wonderland, “ALL have won and all must have personal gratification.”

It’s ALWAYS the case that Democrats have a fall-back position! Who can forget?: There IS no voter fraud –> there is no significant voter fraud –> there is no voter fraud that changed the outcome of an election –> Just shut up! I won’t talk to you anymore! Harumph!

Even if she said she left of her own accord, who would believe THAT? Unless there is some verifiable medical condition, no one will believe that she was not pressured out. Even in that case, there will be many who think that the DNC gave her that condition or that it is all a cover-up.

And people will rightly wonder if she really lost the primary or if it was rigged against her.

… If this is to be done, it would require Kamala Harris to withdraw and to assert that it was her decision. But I think even if they could convince her to put on this show, she wouldn’t be able to make the assertion credibly. She’s a terrible speaker. She’d look elbowed out. It would be awful.

And let’s say the DNC kicks her to the curb in favor of Gavin Newsom. How do you think THAT will go over, with Black voters in particular? How many Black voters will leave the Democrat planation? Already there is movement in that direction!

Rock, meet hard place. Two words come to mind: Flop Sweat.

Democrats so silent about Biden’s manifest incompetence?

I mean, there is the obvious lust-for-power political hackism, and maybe that explains it. Though that means that many people are far more beholden to their “tribe” than they are to their country. A sobering thought…

They remind us, rather, that for 2½ years no one on Mr. Biden’s side has dared to say anything disparaging of him.

So just why? Why the sheep-like fealty to Biden? What is the draw?

It’s heartening to see that the general public is smarter than the Democrat fat-cats and their mindless myrmidons. Biden’s numbers are really bad.

According to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal, a large majority of Americans, 73%, don’t think he’s “mentally up for the job” of being president.

… Worse yet for Biden is the fact that a solid majority of voters, 58%, say that the economy has gotten worse on his watch. Just 28% claimed to think that it has gotten better. Despite this, nearly 75% of voters believe that inflation is heading in the wrong direction.
