deserve to be dragged! And it is discouraging to see how many went bleatingly along. I honestly give a pass for the first few months. But it became more and more obvious as time went on that this was a coercive, despotic power play.
And all that has become increasingly clear, especially with the recent CDC “oops!” about Ivermectin and the obvious damage to adults and kids from shutting down businesses and schools.

The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God: Why New Atheism Grew Old and Secular Thinkers Are Considering Christianity Again, Justin Brierley starts off making what I think is an incredibly salient point in today’s world, a point I will elaborate on:
MANY “scientific” people today have seen themselves as at least agnostics, if not outright atheists. Yet a funny thing has happened on their journey from theist to atheist.
These people became no less religious or “devout” to Leftism or identity politics or atheism than they were as younger Christians. It’s what was observed a century ago by psychologists. I’m talking about Psychologist George Kelly’s “Slot Movement.”
In Slot Movement, there is really no fundamental change to one’s interpretation of the world: There is simply immediate movement between poles. I was vehemently all in before, and now I am vehemently all against. With the same intensity.
The intensity of psychic energy is totally unchanged. The fervor with which I once held position A is the very same fervor with which I hold position Z. And I didn’t stop to examine positions B,C, D, etc. I just “flipped” to the opposite of A. It was as if I were in a “slot” and just “clicked” from A to Z. No real change has happened at all!
Oh sure, I am now on the opposite side, but George Kelly would say that this is entirely superficial, that there has been no real personality change at all!
So in a therapy situation (especially Borderline Personality Disorder where other people tend to be ALL good or ALL bad), a completely opposite set of behaviors is very suspect. Most likely, it is no “real” cure that you are seeing at all. It is just slot movement.
So these erstwhile atheists (or Christians) did not really change in the slightest. They simply “clicked” from position A to position Z, with their personality structure completely unchanged.

ALL their eggs into the, “hate Trump” basket, and now it isn’t working out all that well for them. NO ONE really buys it.
But there are enough lawyers in the Democratic Party to know that the cases against Trump are largely high-cholesterol pig slop.
And even IF, while very unlikely, they get Donald Trump put in jail and off the ballot, do you think that someone else (like Ron DeSantis) won’t be elected?

But they [Democrats] never counted on a few problems arising. One of them is the backlash against these utterly hateful, totally unjust attacks on Trump. THAT appears to be building support for Trump in locations the Democrats never dreamed of. Not all Americans are Democrats, thus not all Americans are robots. And plenty of our countrymen can see the repulsive, smearing politics the Democrats are playing, and are finding it a bit off-putting. Even Donald Trump doesn’t deserve THIS.
Folks, no one likes a bully. And Democrats have clearly shown themselves to be hateful bullies.
See, people quite naturally take the side of the victim. Being hateful bullies is NOT a good look for Democrats. And Trump is most clearly the victim while Democrats are the spittle-lipped abusers.
But my point here is, the Democrats have some problems. They are turning a lot of people away with their single-minded hatred and vituperative attacks on Trump. They are out-Trumping Trump, making him look like the nice guy. They have a serious Biden problem. If they can’t get rid of him, they are stuck with him, will have to defend him somehow, and will be offering an obviously unpopular, senile president to America for four more years. If they succeed in ditching Biden, who can they present as a positive alternative?
Voter fraud is the answer. Trust me, Democrats WILL rely heavily on voter fraud in order to win. And it worked last time, didn’t it? They know their ideas and policies are FAR too unpopular to win, so voter fraud it is!
Real people need to be highly watchful in order to stop the steal this time.

President Biden released the announcement for the “Trans Day Of Visibility” on Good Friday, moments after the memorial of Christ’s crucifixion. “It was bad enough Jesus stole my thunder by dying the day I announced it,” muttered Biden. “As if that wasn’t enough, then Jesus goes and rises from the dead — right on my day celebrating guys who want to use women’s showers! I’m starting to think this Jesus guy scheduled all of this on purpose!”
Yeah, it’s humor. Kinda.
But “Biden” doing this on this day is such epic and deliberate effrontery! It is disgusting and deliberately offensive! Vote this evil bastard out!

The widow of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller had harsh words for elected officials when giving the eulogy at her husband’s funeral. Stephanie Diller, who survives her husband along with their one-year-old son, said that her husband died as a he lived, a hero.
“How many more police officers and how many more families have to make the ultimate sacrifice before we start protecting them?” Diller said during the funeral, which took place on Holy Saturday.
